Everyone’s favourite yellow video game character is turning 30.

The iconic arcade game was first released in Japan on May 22, 1980, and is considered one of the most universally known arcade games. Pac-Man merchandise including t-shirts, toys and even specially shaped pasta was widely available at the height of the Pac-Man craze in the 1980s.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man’s release, Google has changed its logo to a playable version of the game.
