Members of the Winnipeg Alliance Soccer Club are lacing up their cleats in order to celebrate the renewal of Central Park.

The 2010 Central Soccer Fest, presented in alliance with the Winnipeg Afro Aboriginal Cross Cultural Association (WAACA) will take place on Sunday, August 8 from noon until 5:00 p.m.

The first match, an under 17 event, will begin at 1:30 p.m. The main match featuring Winnipeg Alliance players will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Hotdogs will be sold for a low cost between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. There will also be live entertainment provided by members from the Aboriginal and African communities.
