Are your wheels hazardous to the environment? Through the Ford Recycle Your Ride program, consumers turning in 2003 model year or older vehicles for retirement will receive up to $3,000 towards the purchase of a new 2010 Ford or Lincoln vehicle.

Through Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited’s exclusive agreement with Summerhill Impact, Ford is the only car manufacturer that is retiring 1996 to 2003 model year vehicles. The program makes it more affordable for people to purchase a new vehicle.

To date, Ford has retired over 6,000 high polluting vehicles. If 10,000 2003 model year or older vehicles were replaced with newer models featuring advanced technologies, Ford could help eliminate approximately 83 tons of smog emissions per year.

Here’s how to take advantage of this great offer:
If you own a 2003 model year or older running vehicle that has been properly registered and insured for the last six months, visit a Ford dealer to confirm your eligibility for Ford’s Recycle Your Ride program.
Purchase or lease a new 2010 Ford or Lincoln vehicle.
Retire your ride and receive the incentive.

Anyone who qualifies for the Recycle Your Ride program will receive $1,000 towards the purchase of a new 2010 Ford car or compact truck, $2,000 towards the purchase of a new 2010 Ford full-size sedan, crossover or sport utility vehicle and $3,000 towards the purchase of a new 2010 Ford full-size truck or Lincoln vehicle.
